Common PC Viruses

Computers are being used widely in each and every field of our lives. Anna kournikova.jpg.vbs was created by a malicious software tool. Once the script runs on your system it copies itself to the Windows directory as "AnnaKournikova.jpg.vbs". Then it attempts to mail separate email messages, to all different email addresses as listed in the Windows Address book.

The Love Bug was first reported in the afternoon of April 2000 and then it has been downloaded or imitated by several copycats causing more additional variants to appear. The virus has caused extreme loss to various companies, bank departments, government agencies and other forcing them to close their mailing systems, mail servers and pagers.

Similarly the KAK virus is a java scripted virus which works in the French and English versions of Windows 95 and Windows 98 and it copies itself through e-mail VIA Outlook Express 5.0.

The Virus activates the first day of each month. If the machine is restarted after 5 PM the computer will display a message: Kagou-Anti-Kro$oft say not today!
