AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be conducted on 27 May 2018 which is been organized by the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS). All the interested candidates who are willing to appear for All India Medical science MBBS exam will be applicable to apply for approx. 707 seats across seven various All India Institute of Medical Science institutions/colleges. AIIMS offers approx. 107 seats, while the other institutions of AIIMS which are situated in Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, and Rishikesh will offer approx. 100 seats each. This entrance exam will be conducted in online mode only. As it is a computer-based test which includes two slots such as morning slot and evening slot. The interested candidates can book their specific time slot according to their convenience.
Both the slots will take place for 3 hours and 30 minutes duration and the applicants who are interested in AIIMS MBBS 2018 will have to attend the entrance exam as per their allotted slot. As along with NEET and JIMPER the All India Institute of Medical science MBBS course is one of the best and highly competitive medical entrance exam at the undergraduate level. And it is highly competitive with more than 1.5 lakh applicants to apply (expectedly). The result of this entrance exam will be announced for all the appeared candidates on 12 June.
All the interested candidates are requested to read all the eligibility-related guidelines very carefully. The applicants who are willing to appear for the entrance exam must be 17 years old as on 31 December at the year of admission. And the candidates who are born on or after 2 January 2002 will be ineligible to appear for the AIIMS MBBS 2018. The applicants must have passed class 10+2 exams from a recognized board. They must have read English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as their main subjects. And in English, Physics, chemistry, Biology they should score at least 60% average marks which are for General and OBC candidates and 50% is for SC/ST/PH candidate.
This is to be noted by all the interested candidates that they must have passed their exam through an Indian/Foreign university which has to be considered very equivalent to class 10+2 under a scheme then such candidates must generate a certificate from a concerned university/ Association of Indian universities to the effect that the examination will be equivalent to class 12.
